Anxiety is not to be numbed
Anxiety is mild to a strong disturbance in body-mind-soul energetics. It is also, collectively, one of the most misinterpreted states of body-mind-soul.
The single biggest wrong assumption regarding anxiety?
Anxiety is terrible, therefore we need to get rid of it – immediately.
To accomplish this, we will use all means and nothing really will work in the long run, but it doesn’t matter as long as we are not experiencing it. After all, we need to feel good. And even more important: we need to function, to high-perform. We don’t want to disappoint anyone, including our images of who we are, should be, or become.
Anxiety is not wrong.
It is not good either – especially in terms of sensing it, it can often be horrific.
However, it is also one of the most intelligent tools our Soul is utilizing to communicate to us:
What’s been going on lately?
Are you fine?
No… I see you, you know.
So, tell me, what’s uppppp?
What thoughts have you been thinking lately?
What kind of folks are you hanging around?
Junk food? Not enough sleep? Cigarettes, late-night or early-morning drinks..?
Really? Again?! You again overeating at 11 pm?! FFS…
We need to talk.
You need to listen.
I need to scare you – otherwise, I know you won’t listen.
Can you feel me?…”
The soul comes in as your best friend, or, even better, your therapist, gently yet firmly asking, tell me Woman, what are you doing to yourself lately? To what stories and beliefs or people are you hanging on – recently? What is that unsupportive inner chattering that you have? What’s going on in your life?
Anxiety doesn’t come out of thin air. It comes with an energetic background and a specific point of entry.
It is delivered with the invitation, opening the sacred portal so you can get even more real, even rawer, even more, unrestrained You.
One of the key tips on “handling” anxiety? We don’t handle anxiety.
Our head needs to understand what’s going on – make a supersensible sense of it. And then, we need to do the transformation on the emotional-energetic level. “Handling” is not an option. The option is inner work, dedication, persistence; willingness to listen deeply and make time and space for transformation possible. It is possible to heal. We don’t question this around here. Period. Done. And so it is.
